Swift
New to swift?
Direct Debit tickets are only available online and will come loaded onto a swift photocard. This photocard can be reused for future ticket purchases or renewals.
Existing swift photocard holder?
If you already hold a photocard, you can choose to use our Click and Collect service. Just enter your photocard number during your Direct Debit application and collect your ticket onto your card using the Swift android app, or at over 100 on-street Swift Collectors. Alternatively, you can be sent a new photocard when your ticket is ready.
Available to students who are in full time education aged 18+ or those aged 16-18 who are NOT entitled to the Swift 16-18 card. Proof of full time education will be required to buy this ticket.

Photocard required
Peak travel allowed
Some Travel Cards must be used in conjunction with a Photocard which can be obtained when purchasing your ticket.
Off Peak covers travel from 09.30 to 15.29 and then from 18.00 to the end of normal daytime service Monday to Friday and all day weekends and Bank Holidays.

Conditions of use
Conditions of use. Travel is subject to the published terms and conditions relating to Bus and Metro operators' services and facilities, which are available for inspection at head offices of the appropriate companies. The following additional conditions also apply:-
1. Valid on bus services in the specified area of the West Midlands county run by operators in the nbus ticket scheme. Not valid on night buses or certain special services.
2. Valid on Midland Metro services only if purchased with a Metro Add-On.
3. Holders of this product must be aged 16 or over and in full time education studying at a recognised educational establishment for at least 12 hours per week.
4. Holders must be in full time education for:
a. 4 week passes: the duration of the product validity.
b. Direct Debit passes: at least the next 3 months from the start date of their product.
c. Term passes: at least 12 weeks after the start date of a one term product or until at least the end date of a Summer Special product or the 1st June of the academic year for a two term or three term product.
Failure to meet this criteria will result in the product being withdrawn without remuneration of any remaining product validity.
5. All documents provided as proof of full time education are subject to further validation and you or the educational establishment you attend may be contacted for more information.
6. For times of availability and full ticket details see current conditions of issue, and any other notices and publications applicable to its use.
7. This product does not give priority over other passengers and can only be used when loaded to a valid Swift photocard.
8. This product remains the property of the West Midlands Combined Authority, 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham, B19 3SD and may be withdrawn by the Operator or West Midlands Combined Authority, if misused.
9. This product is to be produced on a valid Swift photocard and read on every journey. If not so produced, ordinary fare
